This is possibility of winning safety measures for our students, families and school communities!
How do we know this? Because in Los Angeles, the school district is testing hundreds of thousands of students for COVID every week. In Chicago, the CPS still does not have the consent to test even 30,000 of its 330,000 students.
To rejoin United Teachers Los Angeles and the Chicago Teachers Union for a virtual round table (assist via Zoom or FB Live) on the pressing issues facing educators, parents and students in these times of pandemic and how we are all working to secure security measures and the Resources our school communities need it.
This important and timely dialogue will examine how educators, students, families and parents can fight together for the common good, gain more security during the pandemic, and secure the resources our school communities need to face years of crisis. austerity, underfunding and neglect. Bring your questions and ideas, and join us!
