Monterey – Authoritarian city

I have lived in Monterey for 40 years. When did the Russians take power? First of all, this city declared the “No Safe and Sane” fireworks. Then I asked the “Garbage Police” to search my garbage to make sure my recycling was clean. Now I have our wonderful meter maids going our residential streets to make sure I am not parked for more than 72 hours. Where do they have time to do this? Does this city have too many employees? Go around and mark my tires? For all the people who got tickets, remember who you are voting for. These elected officials think they are doing a great job, but I would like them to get their heads out of the sand. Need I remind you of the wonderful waste of money on the North Fremont Bike Lane to “Nowhere?” “

Are humans as important as bees?

Apparently not. If you have a honey bee hive, the Monterey County Agricultural Department, using software called BeeWhere, will contact you if a toxic agricultural spray occurs near your hive; so you can move it before spraying. If you are a human living in a home, school, etc., the Monterey County Agricultural Department does NOT have a system that will notify you that your home, school, etc. will be exposed to poisonous agricultural drift spray. It’s good to know that honey bees are more important than humans. So why are my honey bees more important than you?

Reinventing the state’s public school system

The recent election of a Republican governor in a decidedly blue state highlights the importance of education as a political issue. Virginia’s parents have made it clear that they want the government to quit their school system. Without their vote, Glenn Youngkin would not have prevailed. Let me light up the state of California: a solid blue, with a once-best school system in the nation. Now among the worst. What happened? Among a litany of reasons were the creation of the Department of Education in 1980 and the politicization of teachers’ unions. Recently, the secretary of the ED, Miguel Cardona, refused to say whether parents are “the main actors in the education of their children”. In April, ED decided to prioritize federal funding for “education groups” that help create lessons based on critical racist theory of race and “1619,” – the controversial Black History Project of Canada. NY Times. CRT indoctrination is now taking place in the Salinas Union school district under the guise of ethnic studies; among other California school districts The truth behind teacher unions: School closures have made it clear, teachers’ unions care more about themselves than their responsibility to educate their students . Why did Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, support Democrat McCauliffe for governor of Virginia? Certainly not in the interests of the students and their parents. Indeed, the future of California public schools contains more social equity indoctrination and less time spent on the basic three Rs. It’s time to re-imagine, to reinvigorate the California public school system. Virginia has shown us the way.

The founding fathers would have been confused

Founder James Madison was a little guy 5 feet 4 inches tall, but a giant in the creation of the Constitution. If he heard that the federal government was going to pay for your babysitter, he would pass out. Hamilton, the conservative, would fall on his sword. They provided for federal rights and state rights. So now they might say, what are states for?

The bad guy is the Supreme Court of the United States.

Rittenhouse judgment

He illegally bought a combat style rifle because he “looked cool.” He bought ammunition and crossed state borders where he marched with his ready-made assault weapon through public streets. No one asked him to protect their property. He was doing justice himself. As a result, he murdered two men and injured another.

He was found NOT GUILTY of any criminal charges! What am I missing?
