Honors College offers internship funds; Apply now
Path Scholar Madison Price and Honors College Fellow Madeline Johnson have both used this internship scholarship program to participate in unpaid internships in the governor’s office. Getting an internship is a valuable opportunity for students to gain experience and explore their chosen fields of study. However, internships are often underpaid (or unpaid) and require travel, living and living expenses. The Specialized College is here to help you! The Honors College Futures Hub Internship Fund enables students to work in industries where unpaid work is the norm, such as start-ups and legal and government offices, as well as non-profit organizations and museums. Additionally, the funding can be used for students who are in paid positions outside of the region and need funds for housing and travel.
The Honors College Futures Hub Internship Fund has sent students to law firms, nonprofits, architectural firms, local start-ups and more. Internships must last a minimum of four weeks during a spring, summer, or fall semester; must support your academic and professional goals; and must be valuable to the future prosperity of Arkansas.
