Description of  the Centre        -  

                                            The Centre is one of the first four Pioneering  Media Research Centres established by University Grant Commision in 1984 at CIEFL(now EFLU) for production of educational television programmes for UGC-CWCR telecast on Doordarshan.   

Additional Achievments of Centre-  

• Produced more than 1500 quality video programmes.
• Won many awards.
• Conduct workshops and training programmes for media personnel regularly.
• Produced prestigious and popular series like The pursuit, New Horizons, Budhism and career counselling etc.
• Always stayed among top three media centre in country.
